The following is a true memory. Only the details were changed to protect the story. When I was younger, I would go with the Scouts on yearly camping trips to Wales. Each time, we would stop either way at a service station in Telford. It's definitely one of the biggest, most distinct service stations I've been to, and can still remember its layout to this day. Of all the visits I've spent there, two instances stand out. The first is when I had KFC for the first time. The second, however, will interest you more. I believe I was fourteen when I entered the Telford Services this time, returning to that hangar-like atrium for possibly the seventh time ever. Me and the other Scouts were there for two things: to piss and/or eat. While I sat by the toilets, waiting for my friends to finish, I decided to watch the other visitors in this iconic checkpoint. One of them caught my eye. This girl with her family, probably between 14-16, came in from the car park dressed in dungarees and bare feet.
